When I want something crunchy instead of soft bread, I reach for this Swedish crispbread. In Sweden this kind of bread is called knĂ€ckebröd, or hĂ„rt bröd, which just means “hard bread.” The ingredients are about as simple as it gets: whole grain rye flour and salt. No sugar, no wheat flour, nothing else.

I mostly eat it with hummus or natural peanut butter with no added sugar. The protein and fat make it a really satisfying snack that doesn’t spike my blood sugar the way regular crackers can.

Nutrition is per serving of 2 slices. It keeps for months in the pantry, and you can find it in the cracker aisle at most grocery stores.
